| alright, so basically i was at camp for the past few days so my cousins were at my house using my comp, and apparently, when I came back I turned on my comp, and the first thing i saw was a blank desktop background screen after the winlogin. So I was like "okayokay, don't panic, just go to taskmanager and start a new process explorer.exe" 1st Problem solved! ^_^ 15 seconds later as the icons loaded on my desktop, I freakin' flipped out cuz my "Rogues" folder was gone and it contained at least 100+ malware/rogues -.- so after that I still managed to recover some of the files using this program which i somehow forgot wut it was called... but at least.... 2nd Problem solved! ^_o so I was browsing youtube and clicked the "sign in" button.... and it didn't seem to work and it instead said that firefox could not establish connections to google. Even the google search engines, gmail, translate, maps, images etc couldn't load and the worst thing is even bing didn't work ~.~ I checked my firewall settings and it said "Windows Enterprise Defender reports that your firewall is on"...... my face went O_o!!! WTF!?!? SO THAT'S WHY MY ROGUES FOLDER DISAPPEARED!! turns out my cousins were playing around with that folder and my antivirus didn't detect it cuz I added the rogue folder to the Antiviruse's "Excluded items" List -______- So I opened Comodo and scanned my comp with MBAM and guess what? It found 723 malware just from the "Flash Scan" settings.... W-T-F I managed to remove all the malware detected but here's the 3rd problem that I can't solve: I can't seem to get the "Windows Enterprise Defender reports that your firewall is on" Dialogue off. I think the whole reason why youtube/google/bing ain't working is because of the Win Enterprise Def. Firewall which is blocking access to those webpages. My knowledge in computers ends here, I don't know wut to do. So can anybody help? pretty plz? ^__^??? |

I'd reccomend Malwarebytes anti-malware, you can use the free edition, but if you are willing to do so, pay for the full, it is used by many rogue/virus testers, and I've used it for years, and it's NEVER failed me. |
